HAUNT (2021) is a photography installation of ninety-nine images made over nine weeks of self-isolation.
Inspired by Xavier de Maistre’s 1794 book Voyage autour de ma chambre and the concept of room traveling, I documented my immediate surroundings to explore themes of solitude, self-reflection, and identity within the confined space of my apartment.
Within this intimate domestic setting, the series unfolds as a cohesive body of images that blend cinematic influences with a subtle exploration of presence and mood.
As my isolation deepened, the boundary between fiction and reality began to dissolve.
No. 12 from the HAUNT installation, 2021.
